Many of our garden plants set seed, which they scatter with happy ignorance of where they finish up, or we drop tiny pieces that become cuttings and root.  And sometimes, these propagules (there’s a good word for you – propagule : any plant material used by the gardener to propagate a plant), these propagules come together to make a very attractive group.

Today’s image from one of our gardeners is one such group.

There’s the yellow Welsh poppy, a blue small geranium, and an Ajuga, probably ‘Braunherz’, which I know this gardener grows.  Lovely!
